There are the official CORE releases (last updated around 2010), with CORE 0.90 (base mod), and CORE 0.91 and 0.92 as patches. It was too early in my internet life to be capable to even find it. 1 but I had a lot of good experience with C.O.R.E.
Yes, the stonyroad website is dead but there are some mirrors posted there so I dl'ed them and reuploaded (as I'd have to link to the forum otherwise and wasn't sure it would work.). It says by default that it displays all posts ever made but in fact one has to set that option because it is set to something shorter. There is menu down the forum pages on paradoxplaza (hidden under thread display options button) where one can set how old threads are to be displayed. The board entry leading to that subforum does have a link to the last post inside and strangely enough, that does open a thread about the CORE mod, but all the links in there pointed to the old fansite which is now dead. It has a whole subforum dedicated to the CORE mod, but when you open it, it's completely empty, saying "no threads to display". Regarding the Paradox forums, I did actually spend some time trying to find it there but the place is a mess. Raydell: Sorry for the late response, but many thanks for the uploads! It's a whole new experience that makes the game a lot more realistic (and harder). New units, new tech, improved AI, reworked unit stats, new graphics (unit sprites), new nations, thousands of historical events, tons of historical generals, etc.

Having browsed through the place again just now, I noticed there indeed is a mod mirror collection thread inside the Mods subforum, but since there are no other threads on that board either, it's easy to miss, thinking it's just another empty section like the rest.Īs for what this mod does, it's like a massive expansion that adds more of everything. :-) Sorry for the late response, but many thanks for the uploads!
